CONSTABLE (GENERAL DUTY) (SPORTS)

No. of Vacancies: 272 Nos.

The list of eligible Sports/Games is as follows (Expected)— Football, Athletics, Volleyball, Basketball, Handball, Kabaddi, Aquatics, Cross- Country, Judo, Hockey, Fencing, Water Sports, Wrestling, Boxing, Weight- lifting, Gymnastics, Wushu, Taekwondo, Archery, Sepaktakraw, Shooting (Sports), Equestrian and Cycling.

Sashastra Seema Bal Recruitment 2023 Eligibility for the Selection

Educational Qualification:

Matriculation or its equivalent from a recognized board.

Sports Qualification:

Players who have participated in any International Sports events as a member of the Indian Squad for the last 01 year and players who have won a medal(s) in any National Games/ Championships recognized by the Indian Olympic Association, Sports Federation.

Age Limit: Minimum-18 years and maximum-23 years as on closing date of receipt of application.

Basic Pay: Rs.21700/-

Upper Age Relaxation: The upper age limit is relaxable by 05 years for SC/ST, 03 years for OBC, and 10 years for the PWD category. Ex-Serviceman & Others, if any — As per Govt. norms.

Sashastra Seema Bal Recruitment 2023 Physical Standards:

(i) Male Candidates: Height — 170 cm (162.5 cm for ST candidates); Chest (unexpanded) — 80 cm (76 cm for ST); Chest (expanded) — 85 cm (81 cm for ST); Weight — As per medical standard.

(ii) Female Candidates: Height — 157 cm (150 cm for ST candidates); Chest — Not applicable

Candidates must not have knock knee, flat foot, varicose vein, or squint in eyes and should possess high color vision. They must be in good mental and bodily health and free from any physical defect likely to interfere with the efficient performance of their duties.

Upon successful payment of the prescribed fee and submission of the online application form, the system-generated Registration/acknowledgment slip with a unique registration number will appear on the computer screen. Candidates must print-out it for future correspondence. DO NOT SEND ANY PRINT-OUT/HARD COPY OR DOCUMENTS ANYWHERE AT THIS STAGE. All the verification will be done in due course.
